The early years of Jeff’s career were spent working for – and ultimately managing - a number of superannuation administration and consulting firms. Over the years he noted the increasing complexity facing employers, members and trustees. Believing he had the answers to these new challenges, he co-founded The Australian Superannuation Group. He must have been doing something right because the firm rapidly grew to become one of the largest independent consulting/administration houses in Australia with over 70 staff.
Seeing an industry that had never been critically reviewed, Jeff established SuperRatings in 2002, to provide consumers with meaningful information on just how their super fund was managed.
Thanks to SuperRating’s independence, it wasn’t long before Jeff’s opinion was sought within the industry and by the media. Jeff is now a regular speaker at major industry conferences. His face can be seen on national television news and business programmes, and his views appear regularly on the pages of major newspapers and magazines. He hopes one day to also appear on the cover of Golf Digest – but that’s another story.
Jeff holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration and is also a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
