Wayne’s career began in Education in Australia and then moved into the world of Marketing Communication. He spent 18 years in advertising in Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong with DDB, Batey Ads and Leo Burnett before starting his own consulting business, Allsorts Habit Creation, in 1999. His company now has offices in Australia, Singapore, China, France and the USA, and clients in around 60 cities across 40 countries.

Allsorts partners consult and conduct seminars to show their clients how to apply the power of creativity and innovation to everything they do: whether corporate culture, branding, new product development, sales, marketing communication – virtually anything that requires thinking in more creative and effective ways.

Wayne holds a degree in Economics, a Graduate Diploma in Education, an MBA and a PhD in the field of Business Creativity. He has lectured in Marketing Communications and Strategic Marketing at Monash University, at both under-graduate and post-graduate levels. He also holds the position of Associate Professor of Creativity and Innovation at Rushmore University and is the driving force behind Rushmore’s MBA (Creativity) degree.

Wayne is author of six business books in the field of Creativity and Innovation. His first book, ‘Flicking Your Creative Switch’ showed people how to apply creativity to their daily lives. The Switch Doctor followed up with ‘The Innovation Pipeline’ which he co-authored with Bob Irwin. Wayne’s other books are ‘How Creative People Connect’ – a look at the “what” and “how to” of creative thinking – ‘Creativity 101’ (with Simon Kornberg), ‘Account Management 101’ (with Vivek Kuchibhotla) and ‘Presentations 101’ with (Anne Yeoman).

When not working with clients all around the world, the Switch Doctor tries to convince Mrs Switch Doctor that he still lives at home.
